Analysis and optimization of temperature measurement distance on the infrared temperature measurement accuracy of a building envelope

Abstract Due to the measuring distance, there are variable degrees of temperature measurement differences when infrared monitoring technology is employed take a building envelope, which can directly lead distortion in detection envelope temperature. In order address this issue, data from 20 sets different locations were acquired through field testing analyzing and interior latex-painted wall. By fitting polynomials error distance curves, model temperature-distance compensation function was produced. According results, it possible precisely estimate walls at 0.25 meters using an instrument. The executed as increases, resulting maximum rate 1% for readings after compensation. Before adjustment, 4.9%; 3.9%.
